Mike Massaro Chief Executive Officer
Mike has successfully grown organizations for the past 14 years, both in start-up environments and multi-billion dollar companies. Prior to peerTransfer, he was Vice President of Strategic Accounts & Corporate Development at Carrier iQ, ranked #9 in the Wall Street Journal’s Top 50 Venture-Funded Companies of 2011, where he lead the global sales team in revenue for five years as well as being responsible for new market development and global alliances. Prior to Carrier iQ, Mike held numerous sales and consulting positions at edocs, Inc. which was acquired by Siebel Systems in 2004 and subsequently by Oracle in 2005.
Mike began his career as part of the technical risk services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Babson College.
Sharon Butler Sales
Sharon Butler has over 17 years experience in sales and service. Prior to joining peerTransfer Sharon was the North East Regional Sales Director for Tuition Management Systems, the leading provider of outsourced tuition planning, billing, and payment processing services in Higher Education. Sharon was also the District Sales Director for SkyTel a division of Verizon Business, a leading wireless technology provider.
Sharon is a graduate of Bridgewater State University, with a BA in Communication and a Minor in Business Management.
Stephen Williams Marketing and Account Management
Stephen Williams brings over a decade of marketing, online strategy, account management and sales experience from both the education and financial industries. He joins peerTransfer most recently from EF Education, where he was responsible for the online strategy and marketing efforts for three business units. Prior to EF, he managed part of Fidelity Investments award winning consumer web site, Fidelity.com. Stephen also served as a Vice President for Corby Capital Markets, a boutique investment bank focused on municipal debt.
Stephen holds at BA from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College. He currently sits on the board of directors for Sara’s Wish Foundation and is a member of the Babson Coaching and Leadership Training program.
Jason Moens Product
Jason Moens has designed, managed, and implemented software and payments solutions for more than a decade. He has held senior roles in Product Marketing, Management, Development and Operations. Prior to joining peerTransfer, he was responsible for defining mid-market segment strategy at ATG. As Principle Product Manager at Oracle, he managed CRM and Online Billing solutions. He has helped several technology startups grow through acquisition, including edocs and Buyerzone.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Babson College.
Jaume Montesinos Operations
Jaume leads the payment operations team at peerTransfer and is responsible for the processing of international payments from over 200 countries and territories. Jaume has an engineering/finance background and has been part of numerous startup companies in Valencia, most recently Venue Network.
Jaume has an Engineering degree and in the process of completing his Masters in Finance & Tax Management from Polytechnic University of Valencia.
Maria Chamorro Finance and Admin
Maria has a broad financial management and analysis experience, developed at top tier firms such as KPMG and other major Spanish companies.
She is a Business and Administration graduate from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Master in Audit from Carlos III University of Madrid.
